Who Is eligible for HIP Michigan?

To qualify for HIP Michigan you must:

• Be a Michigan resident;
• Be a U.S. citizen or Lawfully Present in the United States;
• Have a documented medical condition present within the last 12 months or have been denied coverage due to health conditions; and
• Have been uninsured for 6 months prior to submitting your application.
